Fetching Blooms

Fetching Blooms

Fetching Blooms unfolds as an experimental video where images of flowers move, overlap, and glitch, captured through the sensory perception of an insect. Built in TouchDesigner, the work employs real-time video processing and image fetching sequences to generate a continuous flux of transformation where each frame alters the perception of the next. The software acts as an organic extension, a digital metabolism translating the imperceptible rhythms of nature.

The eye becomes a shifting lens amplifying the vibration of the visible. Micro meets macro, and every petal’s reflection converses with the vastness of the living world. Visual sequences sync with an organic pulse composed of slides and tremors. Each frame holds a fragile equilibrium between chaos and calm, between dissolution and emergence.

In this evolving ecosystem, nature reveals its hidden textures, which are liquid, nervous, and electric surfaces, as if the garden remembers itself through matter. Fetching Blooms explores an expanded perception of reality, a space where vision turns to listening and technology merges with the sensitivity of vegetal life.
